• Mpay™ mobile re-charge and payment services
Mpay™, services are provided by a leading Kuwaiti Company, Al Bahar Telecom and are scheduled for regional availability following deployment in Kuwait.

The initial Mpay service allows prepaid subscribers on the MTC Kuwait network to directly re-charge their mobile phones, and those of others (e.g. parent-to-child, employer-to-employee), conveniently anytime, anywhere without having to travel to a retail outlet or hand over cash and to pay for these re-charge transactions via their nominated bank facility. Re-charge call credit is applied automatically within seconds. The service leverages commercial agreements between Al Bahar Telecom, MTC, and the shared electronic banking services company (Knet) through which all Kuwaiti banks participate. Supported channels are SMS, Java Card and web with services available in Arabic and English.
The service provides subscribers with a highly convenient and secure alternative. It also provides a robust and proven platform upon which other re-charge and mobile payments services will be delivered in Kuwait and across the region.
Main Features
Main features and capabilities of the Mpay are as follows:-
1. Mpay™ service allows the MTC customers to re-charge their prepaid line as well as any other prepaid customer in the form of direct debit of their bank account, via some of the most sophisticated hardware available in the world today. These transactions are subject to the normal banking security requirements, in terms of secure zones and compliance with the banking switching mechanisms, with the implied security requirements for these numbers of transactions.
2. Mpay™ service allows the MTC customer to re-charge his prepaid line or others customer while he is roaming outside Kuwait.
3. Mpay™ service is easy to use, fast, very user friendly and the services supports both Arabic/English language.
